Oppose Arizona's Immigration Law

As your elected representatives to the New Jersey State Legislature, we want to express our disapproval of Arizona’s new immigration law that would allow law enforcement to detain persons who are merely suspected of being in the country without proper documentation. Be assured, we would strongly oppose any efforts to implement similar legislation in New Jersey.

As a nation, we need a uniform approach to immigration reform; one that encourages diversity and respects human rights. The Arizona law is poor public policy and will encourage racial profiling and other infringes on civil liberties.

Please join us in opposing Arizona’s law. You can sign our online petition here.
